Anyone who has never made a mistake
Albert Einstein
has never tried anything new.
I've been developing websites since 2006. The web has changed a lot since then. So in order to keep up with the ever expanding behemoth that is the internet, I like to be at a continuous state of learning something new. That of course not being limited to just coding but also development process, design, online trends and much more. My forte has always been HTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL. Part of my arsenal also includes jQuery as my Javascript library of choice when it comes to producing a rich engagement online. I'm fairly familiar with Wordpress and other CMS. My strength also lies in troubleshooting. I have a keen sense of understanding problems and making things work.
In April 2006, I graduated from the New Media Production and Design program at SAIT, Calgary, AB. There was a point where I was heavily engaged with creating various Flash projects. When the time came for us to learn about developing websites, it was a rough relationship at the start but fell head over heels when it all clicked together for me one day.
A week before graduating, I landed my first field related job at Critical Mass. There, I was placed on various teams to tackle on high profile projects such as Rolex. I was blessed to be able to work with such talented people on amazing projects. Never did I stop learning during my time at Critical Mass. There were many challenges to overcome and beer to drink.
Outside of sitting behind a screen, I like living an active lifestyle. You can find me squatting heavy weights at the gym or swimming a couple laps in the pool. Maybe you'll get lucky and see me trying something new and failing miserably at it. Not without a smile on my face that is.
